This is a unique midge pattern I came up with last year, and it is a must have for clear water! It is as simple as it is deadly. The body portion is tied only using thread and UV resin giving it a thin and sleek look. This fly, specifically the rusty brown variant, holds a special place in my heart seeing as though it is the fly I caught my personal best rainbow trout on (23 inches).

Good quality flys that catch fish

The slender profile of the midge attracted a small group of trout as soon as the little bug hit the water. Well tied and they catch fish. Big fan of the barbless, particularly for the smaller fish who end up taking the fly a little deeper in the mouth.
